To add images Write the report and after previewing it you will notice a tick box at the bottom that says "Add Images". Tick it and when you submit the report it will prompt you for thr location of the images from your computer.
If you are a TRF Member please do not post any priviliged information as this is an open forum.
Fixer, You've got to be joking!!! None of these Cornwall people go riding ( a couple of notable exceptions), they just want to belong to a club and think about it. Perhaps trail riding for Cornwall TRF members is something they are ashamed of and want to keep secret.... a bit like 'keeping it in the family', know what I mean?
Perhaps I should start a 'Virtual Trail Riding Club' as some of the Devon group seem to do more talking than riding. 310 miles on my bike today.......no, not the CCM, the Arseyate!
My 'arsey mate' has had his lights fixed on his mobile shed, whereas my Arseyate is grubby with dead fauna all over the front - plus a nicely sticky and fuzzy visor! My arsey is very comfortable today thank you and about to 'Fixer' a set of rear brakes for Martin at the Back Centre.
[spoiler]Should we post ride reports if oly two of us go out? as I go riding atleast three times a month. But it is normall me and a mate (who is not TRF). Does this count.
If we all try and stick a report on for each of the areas we have ridden in it might encourage other people to think about trying a run out somewhere, that said I still haven't posted anything about the Exmoor trip or a run led by Jeff.
The rule is simple.... If you are leading a ride and you have at least 1 other rider then because you get a nice clear run, whilst you mate/s get all your dirt/dust/mud, then you pay the penalty and write a ride report to put on here to show that the Cornish Group of the TRF do actually go riding in Cornwall! Pictures are appreciated especially if we can all have a good laugh at someone else's misfortune!
I mean we ride every weekend, but there's very rarely and response to reports or rides so I don't bother doing reports, had a great day with ken and smithy today tho

that's fair enough, it's obviously individuals choice whether to write up a ride report or not. the forum is a pretty quiet place anyway, plenty of people log on (i see usage stats as admin) but like you say, most don't write anything.
personally, i am always interested in reading reports, maybe it's just the audience on here that's placid? have you joined the ctrf facebook group? you may find more interaction on there, with it being more of a social network? just an idea
glad you had a good ride at the weekend, mine was curtailed by a dead battery
The ktm used to give me a bit of grief with batteries, nothing more annoying, no lekky luxuries on the gasser so one less headache......kind of. I'm a member of dtrf on Facebook
Wow this is an old thread started by 'Fixer' on reporting ride outs or how to!
Its a common occurrence that many people can't be bothered on reporting a ride out or even advertise they are going out before hand on the forum
I guess forums go through patches and stages of quietness, maybe we/you/I who ever just needs to drop in a ride report/ride request every now and then, just maybe it might spark a reaction from others to read comment on said report or offer of a ride
I'll read and comment if it helps i might even pop down for a ride out if thats okay with you guys
Thanks for the forum comments + effort, it only takes a few to keep things moving along, you never know it can build into something bigger
