Lets have meet up shall we .

Usual place - Borough Arms, Bodmin

8pm third thurs of the month . I make this the 21st 

 

Lets see if we can get some life and riding back in the club .

If you have any ideas for topics of discussion then bung them up on this thread as a reminder.

 

  • Future meeting venue - possibly somewhere more central for members
  • Updating the forum/ website with up to date contact details
  • Cardinham - what can we do to help
  • Wales trip this year at some point ( cheers Wayne)
  • Day for meetings ( Compo)

I have the details for accessing the website but can't make head nor tail of it, possibly something we can look at.

Maybe ask for some advice from the Devon group they have a very professional set up.

Adam has the control of the forum and seems to be keeping things going, but I know the moderators are not about any more.

Thanks for the offer Andy, looks like you could be the Cornwall trf tech officer.

If you can make it to the meet on the 21st that would be great.

Ive been in contact with Jeff and national trf and we will be having the AGM this meet to sort out officers so a good turn out would be great.

apologies I cant do any Thursdays for meetings, so if a new venue etc etc is proposed can I add a change of day proposal to a weds if it fits in ok with everyone else,
cheers.

I also think that CHAIRMAN PHIL has a realy good ring to it .................just throwing that one out therebiggrinsmilesmile

Thank you to all that attended last night . Good to meet the old hands and some new faces .
We threshed a few issues out and hopefully the club can grow on the back of it .

Spoke to Steve at the Hawkins Arms in Zelah and are happy to have us have our meetings there.

Meeting main points


Change of venue discussed , agreed to try other places maybe turn about with the current meeting point . I spoke to the Hawkins Arms in Zelah and they are happy to accomodate us there . Shall we make the next one there ? That is on the 18th Feb . 8 pm . Andy , can we see if we can change that on the main page before then ?

Brings me on to the next point . Andyjonc has taken up the task of bringing the forum,webpage and moderation up to date as well as getting a Faceache page going .

Positions within the club that have changed are

Chairman - Me (no other bugger fancied it )

Charity donations , please have a think about possible charities by the next meeting. PeteW has a contact that can get us some publicity for the handover which will be good for the cause .

Martin is going to contact Adam about getting new members on the forum (Rod - roadster is waiting approval )
