So the 4 amigos (Frostoff, Plantbossman, a chap I have known for years but can never remember his name, and a gentleman on a DR350 who's name I do not know....... its my age.....and I) turned left out of The Borough Arms at 09:00 sharp.
A right turn before the bridge seen us heading back towards Bodmin , Penbugle Lane sees us heading towards Lostwithiel where we take a right turn off the Bodmin - Lanivet road takes us into the rear entrance of Sweetshouse
We then head towards Lerryn via Newham Farm. Went somewhat quicker than I wanted down this one....
A left at Lerryn takes us towards another green road that I have not done for a long long time
On through towards Botallick where the map came out for the first time as I still cant get my head around not riding Shilla Mill...
We finally made it through Lanreath, thanks Frostoff.
Disappointed to find that the road just after Crooksball has been TRO'd
We all slowly entered Trefanny....and on towards Tredinnick, this one proved to be a difficult one for me and I went low where I should of gone high, this set the scene for much sweating and wheel spinning.
Map out again and on towards Plashford Farm and Middle Wringworthy. We then headed towards Looe for fuel and refreshments.
Map out again....After discussion with Frostoff we head towards Polperro and then a really nice one that I have ridden before but would have never of found, thanks again to Frostoff.
On towards Pelynt minding the sizable pile of horse poo with the handy marker in it.
We picked our way back through to where we all slowly entered Trefanny again from another direction.....
Tappswell was an oldie that I remembered then up through Liggars Wood, which has changed so much and I got up through more luck than judgement.
Dropping through to Trevillis Woods we came across some walkers right at the point where you really do not need to see some walkers, any small amount of style I possess went out of the window and I paddled and slid my way down past them.....
Straight across and then onto the A390 A right turn sees us heading down towards the A38.
Done the climb which was far steeper than I remembered.
Many thanks for your help Frostoff, hope you all enjoyed it and sorry if it was slow in places
Hi, thanks for the day out thoroughly enjoyed it, hopefully do it again soon?? Richard (plantbossman) DR350
No problem Richard. Really enjoyed it and I am glad everyone else did as well. Still sore today! Not sure when back out next as I should really be doing the fence around our new build.......
